East Branch (6685 E. State St.) is hosting Guitar Center during a community outreach mission to bring music, reading music, and playing a guitar to those with no (or very limited) experience. Anyone age 8 through adult can register to learn a familiar guitar riff at this FREE event. This is your chance to see what playing a guitar feels like. During the event, Guitar Center will be offering a discount of 25% off of your first month of lessons if you choose to take it a step further. If you have always wanted to learn how to play the guitar, this is the perfect event for you!
There are three (3) sessions to choose from, with 16 participants per session. You may only register for 1 session. Register using each participant's name. Registration closes 24 hours before the event. Guitar Center of Rockford (5425 E. State St.) specializes in new/used guitars, drum sets, piano keyboards, and equipment/accessories like amps, lighting and microphones. Their professional instructors teach all skill levels and all ages. Guitar Center also services and repairs instruments and equipment.
