We will make a dishcloth, so you can see how two simple rows create a woven pattern that looks like bamboo shoots. You will also learn how to yarn over (YO) while slipping a stitch.
MATERIALS:
Solid color yarn (100% cotton, medium 4 weight – such as Peaches & Creme) 80 yards
Size 6 (4.00 mm) knitting needles
2 stitch markers (optional)
Tapestry needle
Scissors

The 66,000 sq.ft. Main Library opened in spring of 2024 and serves as the Rockford Public Library's main downtown facility.
