Meet new friends, listen to stories and get moving in this fun, interactive storytime designed to build social, fine motor & early literacy skills. Children's Area near stage. Won't meet 1/2, 3/27.

This year-round storytime meets in the Children's Area near the stage at East Branch and is supported by songs, rhymes and activities. Shared books count toward 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten, 300 Books Before Third Grade and other RPL reading programs such as our Summer Reading Challenge. Please always check our online calendar via RPL's website as programs may be canceled without notice due to unplanned absence/illness or unavoidable schedule conflicts/changes.

About the library

Come visit the East Branch, located in the former Barnes & Noble building on East State St. The East Branch offers a 65-seat meeting room, free Wi-Fi, quiet study rooms, special areas for children and adults, and an expanded collection of books and media, as well as a Friends of RPL book shop.
