In this short lecture, RPL'S birth chart interpretation will serve as an example for how to interpret your own personal natal chart with astrology.

This year in honor of the new building’s first anniversary, Information Services will host a talk that both explains the interpretation of the library’s birth chart and serves to show as a model for how to interpret your own personal natal chart. RPL's natal chart shows how historical trends match astrological ones, and can help patrons interpret their own after seeing the correlation. Patrons will be presented an example that is not personal to anyone living (rather a building/institution and its history) and use it as a model for better understanding themselves and events transpiring in their personal lives. Astrology gets bad rep for being “woo-woo”; this talk is based on logic and showing it off as a tool for better understanding what makes someone tick and how to forecast trends as metaphorical tropes to learn from.
