Meet new friends, listen to stories & get moving in this interactive storytime designed to build social & early literacy skills. Meets weekly in Children's Area (except 10/23, 10/30, 11/27, 12/25).
This ongoing storytime meets in the Children's Area near the stage at East Branch and is supported by songs, rhymes and activities. Shared books count toward 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten, 300 Books Before Third Grade and other RPL reading programs such as our Summer Reading Challenge.

Come visit the East Branch, located in the former Barnes & Noble building on East State St. The East Branch offers a 65-seat meeting room, free Wi-Fi, quiet study rooms, special areas for children and adults, and an expanded collection of books and media, as well as a Friends of RPL book shop.
