Paint a festive rock in honor of USA's 250th! Our theme for Summer Reading 2026 is Unearth a Story! Keep track of reading goals and attend exciting events all summer long! Registration Req'd/limit 15.

Get creative with stars, stripes, red, white, and blue by painting a rock to celebrate America's 250th birthday. Register using child's name, please. NOTE: parent(s) must remain in the library during this event.

Come visit the East Branch, located in the former Barnes & Noble building on East State St. The East Branch offers a 65-seat meeting room, free Wi-Fi, quiet study rooms, special areas for children and adults, and an expanded collection of books and media, as well as a Friends of RPL book shop.
