Read and Feed is an opportunity for nursing mothers to gather in a relaxed, quiet atmosphere at the Rockford Public Library’s Hart Branch. Every Monday and Wednesday, following our popular Babes and Books storytimes for infants and toddlers, mothers are invited to socialize, listen to ambient music, and hear tips about learning readiness from library staff.
Participants are not required to attend the Babes and Books storytime to participate in Read and Feed time, and of course nursing mothers are invited to do so at any of our library locations, at any time.
