Join in a virtual book discussion that covers the many faces of institutional racism to learn more about racism and how you can can make a change.

This month's book is Dying of Whiteness by Jonathan Metzl.  A physician reveals how backlash policies have mortal consequences for all of us.  Interviewing a wide range of everyday Americans, he examines cuts to school and social services, showing how these policies cost in deaths by gun suicide, rising dropout rates, and falling life expectancy.  Metzl argues we must reject the racial hierarchies that promise to help bu in fact lead to our nation's demise.
