The Pulitzer Prize-winner now pens a fun, gripping tale of a racehorse named Perestroika - wandering from her stall and enjoying not being penned in. In Paris, a streetwise shorthaired pointer named Frida directs her to hunker down in a park, and they soon attract a raven and two mallards. Not only do they dig tunnels, whinny, and migrate; they also carry-on conversations and navigate the city with aplomb. Get this book and come along for the ride, also meeting several humans and a rodent looking for a date! RPL has copies of the book to check out or download.
