Families are invited to visit the Rockford Public Library for a story time, informative presentation, and craft to celebrate Indigenous People's Day at the Hart Interim Library
Rockford Public Library presents an informative 30-to-45-minute presentation on the history of the Rockford area’s indigenous people with visuals and possible “show and tell” items given by Native American author and speaker Kim Sigafus of the Ojibwa tribe.
Families will get to enjoy a story time with Ms. Katie, followed by a presentation from our guest speaker, Kim Sigafus, and then to conclude this culturally enriched program, a craft to take home.
