This adorable pouch can be used for just about anything – from coins to ear buds. You will have to download WebEx to your phone or computer. You will receive 2 invites from WebEx to your email.

Please join us as we explore the joy of sewing and make some cool stuff! You may not exactly hug your sewing machine, but you will play with fabric and color, connect with kindred sewers, and make something beautiful for yourself or others. Challenge yourself to learn new skills and strengthen your personal style, all while we cheer each other on.

Materials and Cutting Instructions:

Outer (main) fabric – Two (2) 6-inch squares [TIP: Avoid directional print.]
Lining fabric – Two (2) 6-inch squares
Interfacing – Two (2) 6-inch squares
3-inch piece of ribbon or braid for the tab handle
Zipper – approximately 7-9 inches (will trim to size later)

About the library

The 36,000 sq.ft. Hart Interim Library opened Dec. 2, 2017 and serves as the Rockford Public Library’s main downtown facility.  The newly renovated space boasts a 2nd story Children’s Area with dedicated computer lab, Read, Play, Learn program room, and creative play space, a Maker Lab with access to 3D printers and scanners and small board computers a sizable Young Adult Zone with gaming center, adult computer lab, local history room, and 5 private meeting and study rooms accommodating groups of 2-8 people.
