Come and enjoy play time with your child while socializing with others. Self-guided, open play for 0 - 2 and their grown up(s). Not a storytime. Two Mondays each month!
This is not a storytime. It is an opportunity to socialize your baby/toddler and yourself, or simply play and read to him/her on your own. There will be a limited variety of toys to play with and books to read. Toys consist of age appropriate blocks, balls, chunky toys, etc., while books consist of board books. All toys and books must stay in the program room. Please bring your own pacifiers, rattles and teethers. Bottles and lidded beverages are allowed. Please clean up and pick up after your littles.
Always check the events calendar for rare, but possible cancellations.

Come visit the East Branch, located in the former Barnes & Noble building on East State St. The East Branch offers a 65-seat meeting room, free Wi-Fi, quiet study rooms, special areas for children and adults, and an expanded collection of books and media, as well as a Friends of RPL book shop.
