Drop-in program for adults of all ages and their family members. Learn a new activity each week that increases mindfulness every Wednesday in the month of September from 1-3 PM in Meeting Room 5.

Come to the Hart Interim Library to learn some activities in mindfulness every Wednesday in September from 1 - 3 pm. Clinicians from Remedies C.A.R.E.S. (Community Action Resources Enhanced Services) program will be at the library during this program as well providing behavioral health services to individuals struggling with mental/behavioral health issues. Feel free to drop in while waiting or practice mindful activities after a session in Meeting Room 5 -open to adults of all ages and their family members.

About the library

The 36,000 sq.ft. Hart Interim Library opened Dec. 2, 2017 and serves as the Rockford Public Library’s main downtown facility.  The newly renovated space boasts a 2nd story Children’s Area with dedicated computer lab, Read, Play, Learn program room, and creative play space, a Maker Lab with access to 3D printers and scanners and small board computers a sizable Young Adult Zone with gaming center, adult computer lab, local history room, and 5 private meeting and study rooms accommodating groups of 2-8 people.
