East Branch is looking for Trunks for our 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat! RPL will provide candy, you provide the decorated trunk. Prizes awarded for best trunks. Click Trunks Wanted title for details.
RULES: Trunks must register (online via website and events calendar) and must provide a name and valid phone number. Staff will call you on 10/24/23 to answer any questions and review important information. Registered trunks must be in place between 9:30 - 10:00 the morning of the event. This allows RPL staff to place you in our lot before the building opens to regular business at 10:00am. Registered trunks will be backed into parking spaces to allow sidewalk access; please keep this in mind when planning how much area your theme requires (each trunk is allotted approximately 1.5 parking spaces). Once placed, use the remaining time to set up your trunk theme and area.
Decorations and costumes must be family friendly and suitable for smaller children (no blood or weapons depicted, please). We will provide each registered trunk with candy. Please provide your own bowl, bag, or display area for the candy. You may bring extra individually-wrapped candy or novelties and games, if desired. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 decorated trunks, determined by vote from those attending. When your vehicle is placed, you will be assigned a number used for voting. Event held in RPL East Branch parking lot, 6685 E. State St., Rockford, 11:00A - 12:30P, Saturday October 28, 2023. No rain date.
A minimum of 3 trunks is required to hold the event, with a maximum of 10 allowed. The deadline to register OR cancel is Monday, October 23.
