This year-round storytime is great for introducing your preschooler to sitting while listening to stories as well as entertaining your kindergartener or first grader. Shared book titles count toward 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten, 300 Books Before Third Grade and other RPL reading programs such as our Summer Reading Challenge. Please always check the online calendar via RPL's website as programs may be canceled without notice due to unplanned absence/illness or unavoidable schedule conflicts/changes.

Come visit the East Branch, located in the former Barnes & Noble building on East State St. The East Branch offers a 65-seat meeting room, free Wi-Fi, quiet study rooms, special areas for children and adults, and an expanded collection of books and media, as well as a Friends of RPL book shop.
