Rockford Public Library Announces the Bill Perry Native Plant Garden
Join us on the riverside entrance of the Rockford Public Library on Thursday, July 31st at 10AM. RPL proudly unveils the Bill Perry Native Plant Garden. This special project was made possible through a partnership with Severson Dells Nature Center, who collaborated with us on the garden's design, planting and signage.
To celebrate the opening, Severson Dells will lead the first official tour of the garden, highlighting the importance of native plants and the vision behind this new community space.
We invite the public to explore, learn, and grow with us as we honor Bill Perry’s legacy and promote environmental education.
