Draw and write a spooky good creation for National Poetry Month. Registration suggested but not required.
Celebrate National Poetry Month by coming together with new and old friends to draw a creature that's totally unique. It will take teamwork, your imagination, and your poetic words to make the monster come to life.
At the end of the event, you'll have a brand-new drawing and poem to take home. This event is for kids 5-12 with all skill levels and talents. See you there!

Officially opened on May 24, 1923, the Montague Branch Library is the Library’s oldest existing branch library facility. Located on the corner of Winnebago and Montague Streets, this branch serves people living on the south and west sides of Rockford. The two-story brick building has been lovingly restored and contains many of the original oak bookcases and a fireplace. The Montague Branch offers an expanded children’s space including a dedicated play room, a wireless computer area, a classroom and the Constance V. Lane Community Room.
