Come create a special garden rock to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States!
Each participant will decorate a rock featuring a pre‑drawn star design. These patriotic rocks will then be placed throughout the city of Rockford for the community to discover.
When someone finds one, they can snap a picture and tag RPL to show who found it and where it was discovered.
Kids will also receive a second rock to decorate and take home as a free piece of rock art, giving them a fun keepsake from the celebration.
Registration is needed.
Ages 6-10
