You’ve heard of it, you’ve seen videos of it, but now you will have the chance to try it for yourself. Join us for a two hour session, which will let you peer into the high tech world of virtual reality video gaming. There will be a short introduction, then each participant will be able to choose their virtual reality, from available games, and enter into a dimension that can only be fully experienced when you are immersed in the VR world. This event is free, but you must register. Class will be limited to the first ten who register. If there is enough interest in the class, future classes may be scheduled.

Officially opened on May 24, 1923, the Montague Branch Library is the Library’s oldest existing branch library facility. Located on the corner of Winnebago and Montague Streets, this branch serves people living on the south and west sides of Rockford. The two-story brick building has been lovingly restored and contains many of the original oak bookcases and a fireplace. The Montague Branch offers an expanded children’s space including a dedicated play room, a wireless computer area, a classroom and the Constance V. Lane Community Room.
