Learn all about this noted suffragist who was also a public servant, successful businesswoman, public speaker and defender of rights for women and children. Question/answer session at end. Ages 13+

This presentation pays tribute to Rockford's local history while also celebrating America's 250th.

This program was made possible through Rockford Public Library's partnership with Winnebago Boone Counties Genealogical Society.

Come visit the East Branch, located in the former Barnes & Noble building on East State St. The East Branch offers a 65-seat meeting room, free Wi-Fi, quiet study rooms, special areas for children and adults, and an expanded collection of books and media, as well as a Friends of RPL book shop.
