Children's AreaTuesday evening stories and music topped off with a little coloring time. This weekly storytime meets in the Children's Area. Will not meet 10/27, 11/17, 11/24, 12/15 (Polar Express), 12/22 and 12/29.
This ongoing storytime is great for introducing your preschooler to sitting while listening to stories as well as entertaining your kindergartener or first grader. Shared books count toward 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten and 300 Books Before Third Grade, while storytime minutes count only during RPL's annual Summer Reading Challenge. Please always check the online calendar via RPL's website or app as programs may be canceled without notice due to unplanned absence/illness or unavoidable schedule conflict/change.

Come visit the East Branch, located in the former Barnes & Noble building on East State St. The East Branch offers a 65-seat meeting room, free Wi-Fi, quiet study rooms, special areas for children and adults, and an expanded collection of books and media, as well as a Friends of RPL book shop.
