Come and enjoy play time with your child while socializing with others. Self-guided, open play for 0-2 and their grown-up(s). Not a storytime. No snacks, please. Bottles & lidded drinks are allowed.
This program meets twice a month in the Friends of RPL Community Room at East Branch. It is not a storytime. It is an opportunity to socialize your baby/toddler and yourself, or simply play and read to him/her on your own. There will be a limited variety of toys to play with and books to read. Available toys consist of age appropriate blocks, balls, chunky toys, pop up toys, puzzles, a tunnel to crawl through, etc., while available books consist of board books. Toys and books must stay in the program room. Please bring your own pacifiers, rattles and teethers and pick up after your child (playing pick up with your child is a great way to make her/him feel like a good helper). No snacks allowed but lidded beverages, bottles, and sippy cups are fine. For your convenience, please use the changing station in the public restrooms across the hall and dispose of any soiled/dirty diapers in the restroom garbage cans.
